Governance

India is governed as laid out in the constitution. In brief ,some functions are with the Centre, others with the states, the rest are left to the private sector, the courts are set up to implement the laws passed by the legislatures. Within these powers, each organ of this setup is autonomous and free to act. This is what they are expected to do if this arrangement is to work. It was workable and would have worked if the organs cmpprisig it were officered by men/women who saw themselves as autonomous as per  the powers allotted to them by the constitution. Provided they had the persoanl conviction and capbility required. It breaks down if these persons lacked the courage and conviction required for their office.  Powers without character is a cruel fiction. This is what is hapening in India. Pepole'sneed are not being met. The Indain elite who staff these offices are letting the counrty down and its people down. This explains the CJP, cockroach, protests.
